Junior Finance Analyst

Junior Finance Analyst 3 months (Might extend) Day rate: £200–£225 Umbrella Central London - Hybrid 3-4 days in the office FMCG Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with a global FMCG business to hire a Junior Finance Analyst on an interim basis for 3 months. Responsibilities Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and identifying key trends. Prepare management reports and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making. Work closely with budget holders and operational stakeholders to understand business performance. Assist with month-end reporting and the production of financial analysis. Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and reporting tools. Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, processes and financial visibility. Support the wider FP&A team with ad hoc analysis and commercial projects. Requirements Immediately available and able to commit to the full 3-month assignment. Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial / fp&a focused role Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data, budgets and forecasts. Outstanding interpersonal skills.
