Graduate Audit Associate
Location: North West London
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Study Support: Full ACA study support
Start Date: Immediate
The Opportunity
Atomic Practice Recruitment is representing a growing accountancy practice seeking a Graduate Audit Associate to join its audit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a long-term career in accountancy, specifically within audit. The successful candidate will receive structured training, hands-on experience and full support towards the ACA qualification, whilst developing their skills within a collaborative practice environment.
The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio of clients and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, making it an ideal starting point for someone motivated to develop their technical knowledge and progress within the profession.
The Role
Join an established audit team and gain practical experience across a variety of audit assignments.
Develop an understanding of audit procedures, financial records and the wider audit process through hands-on training.
Work with different clients and industries, building technical knowledge and professional communication skills.
Receive full ACA study support, including professional training, study support and exam leave.
Work alongside experienced colleagues whilst developing the skills required to progress towards professional qualification.
Build a strong foundation for a long-term career in audit and accountancy.
The Ideal Candidate
A graduate with a 2:2 degree or above in any discipline.
Three A Levels at grade BBB or above, excluding General Studies, or equivalent.
GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade B or above, or equivalent.
A genuine desire to pursue a career in audit is essential. Candidates must be able to clearly explain why they want to work in audit and demonstrate a genuine commitment to building their career in this area.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients.
A professional, enthusiastic and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail.
A team player who is keen to learn, take initiative and develop their career within a growing practice.
Important screening requirement:
Candidates will be asked why they want to pursue a career in audit and how they keep themselves updated on developments in the sector. It is essential that applicants can demonstrate a genuine interest in audit, rather than simply looking for a graduate role in accountancy. Candidates who cannot articulate their motivation for choosing audit are unlikely to be suitable for this opportunity.
Candidates from any degree background will be considered, provided they meet the academic requirements and can demonstrate a genuine commitment to pursuing a career in audit.
